Marathon Baseball Senior Night Thriller

What was initially a nailbiter ended up a blowout win for Varsity Baseball on their Senior Night. They played Groton at home, and the final score was 10-3. The teams were tied at 3 runs each headed into the 6th inning, where Marathon was able to break the deadlock and score 7 runs!

Senior Blake Birdsall pitched over 100 pitches through the first 5 innings as the starter. Fellow senior Camdyn Kashuba pitched the final two innings to close out the game.

Varsity Baseball has two more games left in the regular season, one home against Edmeston on Thursday, May 14, and the final game of the season against McGraw at the Gutchess Park Sports Complex.
