The Marathon Central School District has released its comprehensive calendar for the 2026-2027 school year, providing families and staff with an overview of all key dates, holidays, conferences, and important school events. The calendar features 186 staff days and 182 student days.

Important Information for Families
The district notes that the calendar allows for four (4) emergency or snow days for use during the school year. Should additional days be required due to the exhaustion of emergency closings, they will be taken in the following order: April 12, April 13, April 14, and April 15.
Additionally, the district has discretion in implementing remote instruction days in lieu of taking traditional snow days. If two or more snow days remain unused, May 28 will be given as a day off.
Planning Ahead
With 182 student days of instruction built into the calendar, the Marathon Central School District ensures adequate time for academic achievement while providing meaningful breaks throughout the year. Families are encouraged to mark their calendars with these key dates and to reference the full calendar for any specific planning needs.
