Marathon science teacher Courtney Farkas was awarded the Rotary Club of Cortland's Teacher of the Year award on Wednesday, May 13.
Mrs. Farkas, as her students know her, teaches 7th-grade science, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, and TC3 Biology at Marathon Central High School.
