It is a busy two weeks for the Marathon Olympians as the spring season reaches its peak. From home track meets to crucial away games, here is the breakdown of the sporting events for this week and what you can look forward to next week.

Happening This Week (May 11 – May 17)

The Olympians have a packed schedule with several home events where you can come out and show your support:

Thursday, May 14 (Today!):
- Varsity Baseball vs. Edmeston (4:30 PM): the final home game of the regular season.
- Modified Softball @ Whitney Point (4:30 PM)
- Modified Baseball @ Whitney Point (4:30 PM)

Friday, May 15:
- PEP Rally at the High School to culminate Spirit Week
- Varsity Girls Golf @ Maple Hill (3:30 PM): Final home match of the regular season
- Modified Softball @ Union Springs (5:00 PM)
- Modified Baseball @ Union Springs (5:00 PM)

Saturday, May 16:
- Junior/Senior Prom at Tinelli's Hathaway House

Coming Up Next Week (May 18 – May 24)

It is a major week for the Marathon Olympians as postseason tournaments and championships take center stage. Here is a detailed look at what’s happening on the fields, tracks, and courses for the week of May 18–22, 2026.

Monday, May 18:
- Varsity Baseball vs. McGraw (5:00 PM): The Olympians take on rival McGraw at the Gutchess Park Sports Complex.
- Varsity Softball vs. Ithaca (5:00 PM): A rescheduled match finds our girls on the road at Ithaca High School.
Note: The Boys Varsity Golf Sectional Tournament originally scheduled for today has been cancelled.

Tuesday, May 19: Election Day!
As the community heads to Room 107 for the BOE Vote (12 PM – 9 PM), our younger athletes are in action:
- Modified Softball vs. Southern Cayuga (4:30 PM): Catch the game at the Appleby Elementary East Field.
- Modified Track & Field Invitational (5:00 PM): The JH boys and girls head to Moravia Central School for a large multi-school invitational.

Wednesday, May 20:
- Varsity Track & Field (IAC Championships): The first day of the IAC Championships kicks off at Trumansburg Central School at 4:45 PM for both boys and girls.
- Varsity Baseball Sectionals: TBD. Check back for official seeding and game locations as the Sectional Tournament begins today.
- High School Spring Band and Chorus Concert (6:00 PM)

Thursday, May 21:
- Varsity Track & Field (IAC Championships - Day 2): The action continues at Trumansburg at 4:45 PM as the Olympians look to bring home championship titles.
- Girls Varsity Golf (IAC Championship): Our girls head to the Hillendale Country Club for a 9:00 AM start.
- Modified Baseball vs. Dryden (4:30 PM): Home at the High School Field.
- Modified Softball vs. Dryden (4:30 PM): Home at the Appleby East Field.
- Varsity Softball Sectionals: TBD. Check back for official seeding and game locations as the Sectional Tournament begins today.

Friday, May 22:
- Varsity Baseball Sectionals: The tournament continues with times and locations to be announced based on Wednesday's results
- NO SCHOOL: Snow day give back day
