Two Marathon Seniors Given IAC Character Counts Award

The IAC named its Character Counts award winners earlier this week.

The award selects one male and one female athlete from each member district who are nominated by their coaches. They must exemplify six pillars of character: Trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

The Marathon winners are seniors Blake Birdsall and Abigail Trabucco.

Both are three-sport athletes at Marathon. Blake runs cross country, and plays basketball and baseball; Abby runs cross country, indoor, and outdoor track & field.
