Varsity Softball Finishes Season in Dryden

Marathon Varsity Softball finished its season last night in Dryden, losing to the Lions 17-7.

Unfortunately, the team did not make sectionals this year so the regular season marks the end of the year for the Olympians.

There were six seniors on the 2026 team, including two who will be continuing to play softball in college.

This was the final season with Jamie Bush as head coach. He has been the head coach for 13 seasons and is retiring.

The team continues with a summer league to develop incoming players and keep the current team sharp through August.
